My 168 hour fast experience
I broke my fast today at 7.30pm. Exactly one week after I set the timer on Zero. My original goal was 40 hours. I hit that and then I just kept going. Because let me tell you: IT GETS EASIER! The first day was really easy, I was still “nourished” from eating the days before and I was also traveling all day, so food wasn’t on my mind. On day number two I felt really euphoric, my empty stomach made me feel like I could take on the world. I crashed pretty hard on day three, I felt weak but thankfully I kept myself distracted, drank a lot of tea, coffee and water. On day four I went grocery shopping cause water and bean/leaf juice can be pretty boring ya know and I also planned to start the rainbow diet on Monday . I stocked up on zero cal energy drinks and other diet drinks and also all the food I would need for the diet to last me until Wednesday. I felt pretty alright that day, cause I had some variety. On day five (last Sunday) the euphoria came back, I felt amazing, met my friends, popped some xtc and had a really good time overall. Now the thing with xtc is, it makes you not want to eat the next day (I DO NOT PROMOTE DRUG USE !!) so day 6 was incredibly easy for me to complete, because I had no appetite. On day seven (today), I didn’t feel anything anymore, my stomach kept quiet almost the whole day.
I broke my fast with a 76 calorie salad, which was only iceberg lettuce, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes + dressing. It took me almost 30 minutes to finish it cause I had to take breaks in between.
For anyone who read this far and expected tips, I’m sorry but the biggest “tip” I can give you is to have strong willpower. You want this body, so you have to work for it. I promise it gets easier after day 3 though !!

I’ve lost 4.5kg (~10lbs) in 7 days. My start weight was 83,7kg and now it is 79.2.
